Alex Schlich
Founder & CEO
Alex has over 20 years' experience in fund management, investment banking and strategy consulting.
He worked for 12 years at Collins Stewart and Canaccord Genuity where he was Managing Director and Head of Equity sales. In this role he gained extensive experience of corporate transactions, M&A, IPOs and secondary offerings. He understands how to communicate effectively a company's investment proposition and has built up an extensive knowledge of the UK fund management community. During Alex's time in investment banking he was regularly recognised as a top ranked salesman covering UK small and mid-cap equities in the annual Extel awards.
On the buy-side, his fund management experience spanned 7 years working at Newton Investment Management and Sanlam FOUR where he managed various Balanced and UK equity portfolios.
Alex has a BA in Business Studies from Sheffield University and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, IL, USA.
